Summer/Winter Trips

As Larry says...

"It isn't how fast you can get there,
but what you see along the way."

There is plenty to see and enjoy in the
beautiful Tuchodi wilderness! Our tours
include wildlife viewing, scenic vistas,
photographic opportunities, horseback
riding, hiking, jetboat tours, fishing and
wilderness camp life.

We are located in the heart of the Muskwa/Kechika wilderness area, a 4 million hectare paradise in northeastern
British Columbia. Our territory also encompasses the Tuchodi, Muskwa, and Kwadacha drainages within the
Northern Rocky Mountain and Kwadacha Provincial Parks.

Our main camp, at Margison Creek on the Tuchodi River, includes a number of log cabins for our guests, a central
lodge for communal dining and a shower house. The 1800 foot airstrip is situated in the foothills of the
Muskwa range on the east slope of the Rocky Mountains.

A variety of day trips are available from the base camp via foot, horse, or boat, with options for overnight or
extended horseback trips to a number of cabins and camps scattered throughout the backcountry.

The abundance of wildlife throughout the Tuchodi provides excellent photographic opportunities. Elk and moose
frequent the sloughs and licks of the Tuchodi valley while stone sheep, goats and mountain caribou are found in
the uplands. The area has a complete predator compliment, ranging from grizzly and black bears, to wolves,
wolverine and lynx. The diverse boreal and mountain habitats host a variety of bird species, including the
Philadelphia vireo and over 125 others on our current list. Bull trout, lake trout, arctic grayling, and mountain
whitefish are native fish species to the Tuchodi watershed, with rainbow trout in the Kwadacha.

We offer trips of varying lengths from June through August. Spring and winter tours are also available.
